Hello everyone, and welcome back to afternoon skies! As we’re edging closer to the end of the year, the air is buzzing with excitement and anticipation. It’s that time when we all look forward to new beginnings and, of course, some epic celebrations. And what’s a celebration without some heart-thumping, soul-stirring music, right? So we’re back with an electrifying New Year’s Eve mix that’s guaranteed to take your pre-party festivities to a whole new level.

This year, I’ve curated a playlist that’s a beautiful concoction of today’s biggest hits, some mind-blowing remixes, and captivating mashups, all crafted by some of my favorite producers.

We’re kicking off with something truly special. At John Summit’s recent sold-out show in LA with a staggering 22,000 people, he opened with an iconic mashup titled “Veridis Quo X Human”, blending the mesmerizing sounds of Daft Punk with his unique style. This track is an experience that sets the perfect tone for what’s to follow in our playlist.

Next up, we have “Loving on Me” by Jack Harlow, but with a twist. Jake Shore has reimagined this track, giving it a fresh vibe. It’s like rediscovering your favorite song in a whole new light.

Then we dive into Gunna’s “fukumean”, which has been brilliantly remixed by Diplo, Maesic & Chad Harrison. This version showcases the versatility and creativity of these artists.

For those who love a bit of nostalgia mixed with modern tunes, “Walking On A Dream (Cazes ‘Heard It Like This’ Edit)” is a treat. It’s a beautiful blend of past and present. Next up, Joe Maz brilliantly added vocals from Justin Timberlake’s “Like I Love You” over James Hype’s “Drums” which, in my opinion, is the only way this track should be played!

David Guetta’s remix of “Prada” by Casso, Raye, & D-Block Europe is nothing short of a masterpiece. It’s followed by “Houdini (Rye & Josh Stylez Edit)”, where Dua Lipa’s voice is given a nice boost of energy, creating a vibe that’s absolutely infectious.

Continuing the high-energy momentum is “Water” by Tyla, edited by James Hype. This track is a testament to the captivating sounds that define today’s music scene.

For Taylor Swift and Avicii fans, the “You Belong With Me (Rivas ‘The Nights’ 2023 Edit)” is a must-hear. Rivas blended one of my favorite Avicii tracks, “The Nights,” with a classic Taylor Swift vocal, bringing together two iconic artists in a way you’ve never heard before.

Tate McRae’s “Greedy (BVRNOUT Remix)” adds an edgy twist to our mix, followed by a nostalgic journey with “Murder On The Dancefloor x Out Of My Head (Zillionaire Bootleg)” by Sophie Ellis Bextor and Martin Eriksson. And I had to include the HMC crew’s fresh take on the classic “Whoomp! (There It Is)” in the HMC 2023 Edit by TagTeam vs. Navos.

As we move toward the climax of our playlist, Diplo & HUGEL feat. Julia Church bring us “Stay High”, capturing the essence of contemporary house music perfectly. “All The Things She Said (Rick Wonder ‘Legacy’ Edit)” by Sam Feldt vs. John Summit & VLTRA is a seamless fusion of vocal beauty and dance beats.

Then, “Number 1 (Diggz Edit)” by James Hype & Diplo x The White Stripes keeps the energy high.

Next up, we have two tracks with some great samples of classic tracks. Tiesto & Da Hool’s “Meet Her” samples Da Hool “Meet Her at the Love Parade” and Nicki Minaj feat. Lil Uzi Vert’s “Everybody (NOVA OG to New Edit)” samples Junior Senior’s song “Move Your Feet.”

As we near the end, Bad Bunny’s “MONACO” and Ice Spice’s “Deli” bring in unique rhythms and international vibes. Drake ft. Sexxy Red & SZA in “Rich Baby Daddy” combines star power with irresistible beats. Trippie Redd’s “Miss The Rage (Crankdat Remix)” adds an intense, energetic touch.

And finally, “Surround Sound” by JID feat. 21 Savage & Baby Tate wraps up our NYE mix with a powerful and dynamic sound, leaving us exhilarated and ready to welcome the new year with open arms.
